Patient Education Brochures
The Clinical Practice and Education Committees have developed over 12 patient education brochures on common topics such as constipation, gastroparesis, GERD, IBS, etc and on common procedures such as esophageal/anorectal manometry, pH testing or biofeedback therapy that will be extremely beneficial to patients. Given that there is misinformation and poor understanding of these conditions, and very little authoritative information on these topics or procedures, these brochures should fill a much-needed void for our patients. They can be purchased for a nominal fee. To view the topics and place your order go to the Brochure / Handout Order Form.
Research Grant Opportunities
ANMS is accepting applications for the 2012 Small Grants Program. The Research Program will provide 2 grants of $30,000 each. The program will fund research projects focused on any topic area relevant to neurogastroenterology and motility. It is anticipated that one award will be made to a clinical/translational investigator and one award will be made to a basic science investigator. Applicants must be members of the ANMS. The application deadline is November 9, 2012. Funds will be available to successful applicants in February 2013. Click here for more information and to submit your on-line application.
Applications will be evaluated by members of the Research Committee.
IFFGD is Seeking Applications for 2013 Research Awards
